THIS PARTICIPANT RELEASE (the "Agreement") is executed by the ticket purchaser/registrant (the "Participant") in favor of How to Handyma'am of Address: 108 S. Oakland Street, Saint Johns, MI 48879, USA | Email: hthm@myhandymaam.com | Phone: (517) 858-2714 (the “Organization”). The date of electronic submission at registration checkout shall serve as the "Execution Date."

BACKGROUND:

  • The Organization may choose or is currently engaged in the business of creating educational media, which includes but is not limited to engaging in the following activities for the purpose of furthering its mission to reach women how to care for their own homes: Filming, film/video editing, and film/video production; photography, photo editing, and photo production; digital photography, digital photo editing, and digital photo production.

  • The Participant consents to being a subject of the Organization in media. The Participant will allow the Organization to capture images and sound recordings for use in media.

WHEREBY:

THE ORGANIZATION IS RELEASED OF LIABILITY

As a condition of participating in the activities and training classes offered by the Organization, the Participant releases the Organization and assigns permission to license all images and sound recordings and to use of images and sound recordings in any media for any purpose which may include, among others, advertising, promotion, marketing and packaging for any product or service. The Participant agrees that any images and sound recordings may be combined with other images, text and graphics, cropped, altered and modified.

THE ORGANIZATION RETAINS ALL RIGHTS

The Participant agrees that the Organization has all rights to images and sound recordings, for perpetuity unless explicitly noted in this Agreement. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that the Organization is not liable for any further consideration, accounting, or claim for any reason.

DURATION OF AGREEMENT

The Participant acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement is binding on all heirs and assigns. The Participant acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement is irrevocable, worldwide and perpetual.

GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement will be construed in accordance with and governed by the laws of the State of Michigan.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE

By checking the required box at online registration checkout, the Participant acknowledges that they have carefully read, understood, and expressly agreed to all terms listed in this Photography and Videography Release. This digital agreement serves as a full, legally binding release granting the Organization permission to use the Participant's likeness, voice, and image captured during event activities.
