You will spend the day inside our warehouse venue rotating through three deep-dive, hands-on stations led by supportive pros:

  1. Tool Competency: Demystify the toolbox, master power saws, and learn to use heavy-duty tools safely and confidently. Learn how to choose the right tool for each project.

  2. Plumbing Basics: Stop leaks, replace bathroom/kitchen fixtures, and handle emergencies without panic. Know exactly when you need to call a plumber.

  3. Drywall Repair: Learn to patch, sand, and smooth out walls like a professional. Learn tips and tricks for beautiful finishes.

Schedule

  • Handyma’ams (that’s you!) will check in, meet the instructors and helpers that will make the day amazing for you, and begin to get to know the group of women you’ll be learning with all day.

    We’ll also have coffee, tea, other beverages and caffeine sources, as well as food to start the day!


  • As we prepare to begin training, you’ll receive your PPE (personal protective equipment), safety instructions, and details of how the day will run.

    Oh, and more coffee and snacks!

  • Training will be split into three sessions - tool competency, plumbing, and drywall repair. This is your first 2-hour rotation!

  • This is a time for community building, getting to know your instructors and other fabulous handyma’ams, and sharing a meal together.

  • This is your second 2-hour rotation!

  • This is where you learn your third major skillset of the day!
